The Peerless Pet Retractable Dog Leash was purchased at a local superstore for around $10. It was a quick replacement for a leash that had failed the day before, so we didn’t do a whole lot of research before purchasing it. Although it did mention that it had a 15′ cord, it didn’t mention how much weight it would support…it just said medium-sized dogs. Since it was going to be a leash for Bailey (and she’s about 38lbs), I figured this would be a good leash for her.
Review: Flexi Freedom Retractable Cord Dog Leash
The wife and I purchased the Flexi Freedom Retractable Cord Dog Leash as a replacement for a failed lesser brand based on it’s reviews. Right off the bat I was glad to see that it was a corded leash and not a belted one (for reasons I’ll get into later). Since Munchkin, our 11lb Bichon, could be easily mistaken for a tasty morsel by some woodland creatures, I’m also pleased with the fact that he can only be about 16′ away at any given time.
Review: Flexi Explore Retractable Belt Dog Leash
A couple months ago the wife and I needed to replace a leash that no longer retracted. A buddy of mine had one of Flexi’s Explore Retractable Belt Dog Leashes that he swore by, so I asked him if I could take it for a test drive prior to purchasing one. It was a bit overkill for our smaller dog, an 11lb Bichon (who needed the new leash), so I asked if I could give it a go with his Rott.
Review: Flexi Giant Retractable Belt Dog Leash
I decided to bite the bullet and pick up one of Flexi’s Giant, Unlimited Weight Retractable Dog Leashes based on the reviews it’s been getting. Bailey is not up in the ‘unlimited’ weight range, but since she sometimes thinks she’s a freight train I figured this leash could take a beating.
